SONG: A MOTHER'S CARE FOR CHILDREN 🅵

The original text of an ancient Egyptian prayer song was once engraved on one of the walls of the Luxor Temple. Over time, the wall was partially destroyed, and it was through this breach that the entrance to the inner halls of the sanctuary opened—during the reign of Amenhotep IV, better known to the world as Akhenaten. This pharaoh went down in history as a reformer who decided to break with centuries-old religious traditions. He rejected the worship of the traditional Egyptian pantheon of gods, particularly the influence of the powerful cult of Amun, and proclaimed a new faith—the cult of a single deity in the form of a solar disk, Aten.

Today, the prayer that once resounded in stone survives only in isolated papyri, becoming a silent testimony to a bygone era and its forgotten religious system.
