A Slavic prayer-spell dating back to 865. Given to a monastery by a seer and healer during a local children's epidemic to save from troubles. Kept for a long time in the archival collections of museums of the Soviet Union during the reign of Joseph Stalin.

Earlier references to the text of the prayer date back to the Roman period, when the prayer was passed on orally by bath attendants and used during ritual bathing. Most often, the ritual of washing with prayer was requested by merchants to improve trade.
