The Prayer STEPS OF GOD is an ancient text created during the Second Dynasty of Egypt. It was recited in the morning services before the visit of the pharaoh, and was also used in the healing ritual of the "Return to Life". The text of the prayer was painted on the walls of temples and hospitals so that the sick could regain health, and was also placed in the tombs of pharaohs who had passed away from illness.
