The Prayer DAWN is an ancient text dating back to the Early Dynastic Period, the Third Dynasty of Egypt (c. 2720 BC). This prayer was a favorite of the queen and was passed on to her with honor by the king's mother. At the queen's request, the text was recited before the ablutions of all the women serving the kingdom.

According to legend, a prayer written on a clay shard was placed under the left corner of the debtor's hut so that he would repay the debt within seven days. The prayer was written on a strictly defined day according to the lunar cycle to achieve the effect.
