This was one of the popular ways to protect one's child from harm.

Two centuries later, the prayer took on a new, more martial application. It began to be recited over armor and war chariots before men went into battle. From a talisman for infants, it also became a shield for warriors, testifying to its universal power and belief in its protective properties, capable of protecting from dangers both in the cradle and on the battlefield.

It is noteworthy that this prayer occupied a central place in the religious life of the ancient Egyptians. It was one of the main prayers recited during weekly services in half of the temples of Ancient Egypt. This underscores its profound significance not only in the personal life of each individual, but also in the social and religious practices of an entire civilization.
