HISTORY OF THE RITUAL YOUTH NAMITU-MA
The ritual dates back to 1700 BC and was found on a clay shard during excavations in what is now Syria in the Akkadian language.
It was created by one of the priests of Mitanni, an ancient Hurrian state in Northern Mesopotamia. The goal was to restore the lost beauty of one of the concubines, who began to lose her attractiveness at an early age due to dry skin and a reaction to the hot climate.
