HISTORY OF THE RITUAL PASSION OF DIONYSUS
The original text was found during excavations on one of the vases of Ancient Greece. The text dates back to the time of Hellenistic (Ptolemaic) Egypt in 315 BC, which was part of the empire of Alexander the Great.
It was often used by women to ignite the love of their chosen ones for them, passed from mouth to mouth.
It was used many times in Ancient Greece during the Dionysia - city festivals held from March 25 to April 1 with tragedies, comedies, satire, a phallic procession, dressing up, a masquerade, dithyrambs, a poets' competition and a rich feast in honor of the god Dionysus. The ritual helped to kindle the love of the participants of the festival for each other.
