HISTORY OF THE RITUAL KNOT OF DESTINY
The ritual texts were especially popular in the territory of Southern Egypt, in particular in the areas bordering the Kingdom of Kush.
Desert women of Nubian origin who went from house to house, which were small huts, offering their help in protecting against the evil spirits of the desert. They collected the clothes of the house guests and while washing the clothes in the waters of the river, they conjured their owners against the presence of evil spirits.
The ritual was considered one of the most powerful, capable of resisting the use of black magic against a person.
