HISTORY OF THE SUN DANCE PRAYER
The original text dates back to the Second Dynasty of Egypt. The prayer is associated with the day of the granting of life to the king, as it was written by one of the most brilliant priest-doctors of that time specifically to restore good health to the pharaoh who was suffering from illness.
Later, the prayer was forgotten until the time when the son of one of the pharaohs of the VII Dynasty, who had extraordinary abilities in writing magical texts, inscribed it on one of the walls of his father's tomb in order to return the former glory and wealth to the family.
Over time, the prayer spread among the people and became the basis for a new ritual aimed at improving the material situation.
