THE STORY OF THE PRAYER SONG THE SPIRITS ARE WAKE UP
The prayer used in the song was long preserved in the monasteries of Ancient Greece, having fallen into oblivion since the decline of Ancient Egypt.
The original text of the prayer dates back to 2700 BC and was widely spread in southern Egypt.
The prayer was famous by word of mouth, having been passed on by Ninejer, the third pharaoh of the II dynasty of the Early Kingdom of Ancient Egypt, to his second beloved wife. Inflamed with feelings for his new wife, he ordered the text of the prayer to be engraved on a stone stele, so that everyone would honor the new queen.
