THE STORY OF PRAYER THE LANGUAGE SONG OF SELENA
The lyrics were spread throughout Ancient Greece. The song was used during the spring equinox festival in honor of the goddess Selene (known as Mene). It was believed that after a long journey and bathing in the ocean waves, she puts on sparkling clothes and harnesses shining horses to her chariot.
The prayer was also used to appeal to the Goddess Selena on full moon days to attract positive changes in life and get rid of bad luck. It was believed that if you read the prayer on a full moon, then if a man enters the house first in the morning, then the request will be heard and you should expect positive events in life.
Later, the lyrics of the song were used as a good luck charm during costume performances by sewing the lyrics into clothes, fabrics and putting them into the walls of buildings.
