HISTORY OF PRAYER THE SECRET WORD
The original text dates back to the Second Dynasty of Ancient Egypt (c. 2890 – c. 2686 BC).
Later, the prayer came from Egypt to the kingdom of Kush. Transmitted by the mother of the king's son Kush to the priests, the prayer was specially read by them every evening at sunset for the integrity and safety of the king.
According to beliefs, sleep was a gateway to the world of souls, where one could not only learn all the information about a person, but also harm them. Therefore, the prayer was wrapped in a cloth bag and placed under the pillow so that the spirits would protect the dream. After six months, the prayer was rewritten to restore its protective properties.
