THE HISTORY OF THE PRAYER OF THE EYE OF THE MIST
The original text dates back to the 16th Dynasty of Egypt. The text was created by a priest during a military action to save the royal offspring from the misfortune of being killed.
The prayer was depicted on the walls of Egyptian temples several centuries later for use on special days of the lunar calendar.
With the advent of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt, the prayer was modified and began to be actively used in the preparation of tombs for the nobility.
It was believed that prayer protected the Soul of the deceased from being swallowed up by the Darkness forever. Preservation of the soul in extraterrestrial space was considered the most important part of the burial rites during the reign of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt.
