HISTORY OF PRAYER O MY KING!
The text dates back to the 22nd-21st centuries BC and was a daily prayer in Ancient Egypt, read near the Altar with offerings to God. A similar text, but in the Akkadian language, is also found in Ancient Babylon.
A partially similar text was used as a prayer before sacrifices in the Jerusalem Temple during the time of King Solomon. After the founding of the Christian Church, the prayer in a modified form was kept for some time in the Vatican, after which it ended up in a private collection.
