HISTORY OF PRAYER LOVE
The original text dates back to the Second Dynasty of ancient Egypt. The prayer was intended for the queen, the first and main wife of Pharaoh Horus Sekhemib.
A prayer recited before midnight brought blessings to the royal house where a child was ill. Through the efforts of the priests, the child recovered within 7 years.
The prayer was often used in temples dedicated to the Sun God during the ablution of infants. Such ablutions were performed once a year before the spring solstice to give the child strength and restore health.
