HISTORY OF PRAYER DAY AND NIGHT
The original text dates back to the 22nd century BC, during the reign of the VII Dynasty of Ancient Egypt. The texts of the prayer came to Ancient Egypt from Babylon during the movement of trade caravans with the gold of the kings. The prayer was supposed to appease the pharaoh and cancel his decision to launch a military campaign.
Later, the text of the prayer is transformed into a lullaby, performed by priestesses at night before bedtime for the children of the kings.
